About Ria Studio
Honolulu, Hawaii based studio specializing in Cosmetic Tattoo, Lip Blush, Brow and Lash lifts, lash extensions and waxing services.
In 2007, my journey in the beauty and wellness industry began as I graduated from massage school and joined the esteemed team at Pure Joy Day Spa. Initially, my role as a part-time massage therapist quickly evolved when I was presented with the opportunity to embark on an esthetician apprenticeship.
Attaining my Esthetics license opened doors to a myriad of new possibilities in service offerings. I delved into the art of Lash Extensions, discovering not only a new skill but also a deeply therapeutic practice. As my expertise grew, I pursued licensure as a tattoo artist before the arrival of my second daughter.
However, the landscape shifted with the advent of the pandemic and subsequent shutdowns, prompting a period of reflection and adaptation. It was during this time that I realized the moment had arrived to venture into entrepreneurship. With unwavering support from my family, husband, and lifelong mentor, Joy, I took the leap to establish my own business in 2021.
